LACHAR Candles are made with premium soy wax which burns hotter than most mass-produced candles, so good candle care is essential for your safety and enjoyment. Always adhere to the caution warning label affixed to the bottom of our candles.
NEVER LEAVE A BURNING CANDLE UNATTENDED. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN AND PETS.
Keep wick centered and trimmed to 1/4" to prevent smoking and soot build up.
Keep wax free of matches, wick trimmings, or other flammable materials.
Burn only on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
Do not burn for more than four hours at a time, and keep out of drafts. Discontinue use when only 1/2" of wax remains in the bottom of the container.
Do not move candles while burning or if wax is hot. Do not put the lid on until completely cooled and solidified.

The first burn is important. Allow the candle to burn to a complete pool - liquid wax to the edge of the container - in order to encourage even pooling for future burns. This could take 2-4 hours depending on the size.
Keep the lid on between burns to help retain the scent and keep the wax clean.
Use a wick trimmer to keep wicks at 1/4"
Use a candle snuffer or wick dipper to extinguish the flame to reduce wax splatter and smoke.
Most importantly, always enjoy LACHAR candles safely.
